L’Alta Valle del Tevere (Upper Tiber Valley) is the first part of the Tiber River which springs at Mount Fumaiolo and reaches Umbertide. This is a natural amphitheater which tells a long story from Roman times, getting on medieval paths until reaching the magnificence of the Renaissance.

Jewellery tour in Florence has a very old tradition on artisans, whose workshops were the peculiarity of the ‘Oltrarno’, the area on the other side of the Arno; jewellery makers, goldsmiths, silversmiths, shoemakers and leatherworkers with their workshops made some florentine streets unique.

The tour continues in the shop of a very famous florentine creator who, taking inspiration by the American films of the 1940’s, creates costume jewellery using ‘simple’ materials as synthetic resins; her bijoux are considered both fashion and art, and her artworks are displayed in important worldwide museum.
Finally, it continues in a workshop specialised in the handmade working of glass and crystal beads by the technique of threading, bead weaving, crochet and three dimensional bead working.
Chianti is a hilly region that culminates in Mount St. Michael high 893 meter in the south of Florence and the north of Siena. Chianti classic corresponds to the wine production area of about 70,000 hectares which includes small areas of Castellina, Radda, Gaiole and Greve, and in some areas in San Casciano Val di Pesa, Barberino Val d'Elsa, San Casciano Val d’Elsa and Castelnuovo Berardenga and a small part of Poggibonsi.

The tour ends on Piazza Duomo where the facade of the magnificent Cathedral will leave you breathless! We will visit the Cathedral inside that preserves amazing treasures: among them the marble floor, the Piccolomini's Library and the Piccolomin's altar.
